Saif Hospitalised

Actor Saif Ali Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra on Thursday after he complained of abdominal pain. His girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor, accompanied him to the hospital.

Our sources inform, "There was a big Christmas eve bash at Saif's place last evening. But today since morning Saif began feeling unwell and complaining of a bad tummy ache. He also kept on vomiting all through the day.

It was perhaps because of something that he ate last night. Finally his family members decided it would be a better idea to take him to the hospital for a better diagnosis and medication."

It is not the first time that Saif Ali Khan, son of former Indian captain Mansoor Khan Pataudi and Bollywood actress of yore Sharmila Tagore had to face stomach pain.

"Khan was diagnosed with an intestinal infection and is expected to spend a few more days there,'' hospital spokesperson Mohan Rajan said. He is under the care of hospital director Narendra Trivedi.

In the year 2006 too he was admitted to the same hospital that mostly caters to super rich people of India's business capital. When Saif was taken to the hospital he was accompanied by his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor and her sister Karishma Kapoor.

His girlfriend Kareena while talking to a news agency said, "He is all right. He got a stomach infection due to something he ate that didn't suit him. He'll be discharged from hospital in two-three days".

Saif and Kareena were planning to spend Christmas and New Year's eve together in Switzerland. Saif, who has turned a producer, was shooting for his home production but was still trying to organise a five-day leave.
