Kareena Birthday at Ladakh

With an acting career spanning almost eight years, Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor, who is set to celebrate her birthday by shooting in Ladakh, is among the top actresses today. But she says she does not believe in the number game at all.

"I think it is my choice of roles that has worked well for me. Otherwise, frankly, it is the media who chooses the queen of Bollywood every Friday. I don't like to be tagged as a particular actress and I really don't believe in the numbers game," Kareena had said at an event recently.

The Chhaliya girl going to experience an exceptional birthday celebration because, on that day, she will be shooting for her upcoming movie, '3 Idiots, with Aamir Khan. Though she was ready to celebrate the day with the movie cast and crew, but her beau Saif flew to Laddakh to surprise her and present her lady love what she expected .

She had said, ""I am sure there's something in store for me that Saif has planned over the days," Kareena laughed. But Kareena was sorry to miss her family on the auspicious occasion, especially her sister Karisma and her niece Samaira.

Though the actress made a huge impact with Jab We Met, she picks Chameli as the movie "which was a turning point for my career. I think the audience now wants to see me in hard-hitting roles." Her next such role will be in Karan Johar's next film, where she plays a terrorist's wife.

She will take a two-month break in the US later this year, Kareena reveals, much deserved time off after her hectic schedule since Jab We Met.
