Kareena Kapoor's Party For Malaika Arora ....

Kareena Kapoor threw a party for her best friend Amrita's sister Malaika Arora Khan urf Munni from Dabangg last night.

Kareena Kapoor is a good friend indeed. As soon as she landed in Mumbai after her tiring shooting schedule in Latvia for her beau Saif Ali Khan's home production 'Agent Vinod', the style diva chose to have a party at her Bandra abode for her best friend Malaika Arora Khan, to celebrate the success of her song in the latest stunner 'Dabangg'.

Salman and Kareena had a problem during the shooting of Main Aur Mrs Khanna after which they had decided not to work together but that has been sorted out. Kareena Kapoor is too warm-hearted a person to hold grudges.

Kareena hasn't watched the film, since for past few weeks she had been shooting in Latvia, but she had heard rave reviews about the movie and hence wanted to celebrate the great success of the film with her friends Amrita and Malaika.

Malaika said, "Though I am over the moon that the song is so popular and Dabangg is such a big hit, the best part is that friends have been really sweet and hosted celebratory dinners. Kareenar was in town and she also had something at her place. We told her she has a busy schedule but she said 'I don't care, we are celebrating!'"

Few know that Malaika was initially reluctant to dance to the song, which has been composed by Lalit Pandit. "I felt that, as a producer, I should stay behind the camera. But when Arbaaz heard the song he came and told me that he's found his Munni and I will do the song. Later Salman and Amu insisted that only I could do justice to the number so I gave in."

Incidentally, Kareena's private bash had all her friends. From Malaika, Amrita, Karisma Kapoor, Lovely Singh, Tusshar Kapoor to Shabina Khan, but the only person, who had been missing was her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan. It's believed that the Chote Nawab is indeed busy shooting for 'Agent Vinod' in Europe.
