Rani Mukerjee, Kareena Kapoor in Aamir's Suspense Flick ....

Rani Mukerjee and Kareena Kapoor will reportedly co-star with Aamir Khan in an upcoming suspense drama to be directed by Reema Kagti.

It has been confirmed by Aamir himself that Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerjee are going to be his co-stars in the film.

Ever since it was announced, Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions' film starring Aamir Khan and directed by Reema Kagti has been in the new. There were speculations all the while as to who the lucky two heroines would be who would be paired opposite Aamir in this suspense flick. The suspense is over and it's none other than Rani Mukerjee and Kareena Kapoor who have been signed on for this ambitious project.

Aamir wrote, "Well, the lead actresses for my new film have been locked. Kareena and Rani. Am so happy to be working with Kareena again after 3i, and most excited about working again with Rani after so long. Difficult to concentrate on my work with such beautiful co-stars around ;-)"

This is the first time that Aamir, Rani and Kareena will be starring in the same film and it's a casting coup for sure. It may be recalled that Rani starred opposite Aamir early in her career in the smash-hit Ghulam and was even part of the historical Mangal Pandey -The Rising. Bebo meanwhile was Aamir's co-star in last year's blockbuster 3 Idiots.

The film will be co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Excel Entertainment owned by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Reema Kagti earlier directed Excel Entertainment's Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. (2006) . Kagti is scripting the new film with Zoya Akhtar. Production is scheduled to start in February 2011.
